Description

As a MedSurg Cardiology Nurse at Trusted Health’s partner facility, you’ll deliver evidence-based care to adult patients with diverse cardiac and medical conditions on a fast-paced inpatient unit. You’ll manage complex assessments, telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, post-op recovery, and discharge planning while using advanced digital tools that streamline documentation and communication. Collaborating closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, you’ll educate and advocate for patients and families, support quality and safety initiatives, and mentor newer nurses within a mission-driven, nurse-centric culture.
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult MedSurg cardiology patients on an acute inpatient unit
Continuously monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and clinical changes
Administer medications, IV therapies, and post-procedure care per evidence-based protocols
Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams on care planning and discharge
Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications
Use EHR systems for accurate documentation, orders, and care coordination
Respond to cardiac and medical emergencies using ACLS/BLS standards
Precept and mentor newer nurses, supporting a culture of learning and safety
Advocate for patients while supporting throughput, quality, and satisfaction goals
Cardiac telemetry monitoring
