Description: Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic RN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care for patients that need close monitoring and frequent assessments. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. What will you will do in this role:

• Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality

• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions

• Provide high focus care with a commitment to continuous improvement

Qualifications:
\n

\n
• Looking for candidates that have 1+years of Acute Care RN experience. (Does not necessarily need to be in the ICU but they need a good Acute Care Background)
\n
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required
\n
• BLS required
\n
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
\n
• BSN is preferred
\n
• CCRN a plus but must be obtained within 2 years. NIHSS stroke certification required within 30 days.

• Specialty Diff: $2.50

• Shift Differentials: $3 Nights and $2 weekends

• Sign On: up to $25k Sign on for Nights Only (Case by case; as it also depends on the candidates years of experience) * NO SIGN ON FOR DAYS

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Registered Nurse Florida state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Registered Nurse program
• One year of work experience as Registered Nurse
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
